The Electrical Safety Foundation International recognizes May as National Electrical Safety Month and encourages everyone to be aware of and prevent electrical incidents, including fires, both on the job and at home. The focus of this year’s campaign is “Test Before You Touch” – Every year, thousands of workers are injured or killed by circuits they thought were safely turned off. Simply shutting off the power is not enough. Hazardous conditions can still exist. Make sure to always TEST BEFORE YOU TOUCH. Learn more about National Electrical Safety Month at the ESFI’s website.
